  13. SHORT DESCRIPTION:  A vocabulary building TSR for DOS and popup for Windows.  
  14. Intended audience is 16 years and up.

  16. DESCRIPTION:  Word Treasure is a vocabulary program with over 500 new 
  17. vocabulary words.  The program is intended to be loaded from the 
  18. AUTOEXEC.BAT.  There is an option on the program menu to leave the 
  19. program resident in memory.  The user can either bring the program 
  20. up by the hot-key sequence of  <ALT-LEFT SHIFT> or by setting an automatic 
  21. timer.  The program has full mouse support with pull-down windows and 
  22. menus.  The user can add their own vocabulary topics and words.  Word 
  23. Treasure functions well in a Windows DOS box.  I have had problems with the
  24. DOS version popping up by timer at resolutions greater than 800X600X16.  It 
  25. does however work fine by the hot key.  Personally I usually just look at 
  26. the word when I boot the computer in the morning and throughout the day.  
  27. The program can also be unloaded if nothing is loaded above it.  There 
  28. is also a utility called fix.exe that will rebuild any topic file and 
  29. name it FIX.TPC.   The DOS program has a short reminder on the 1st and 15th 
  30. of each month to register.  The Windows program asks the user if he wants
  31. to register after using the product for 30 days.
